POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Medicare Sales Agent to join our dynamic call center team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicare products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers find the best healthcare solutions. As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will be responsible for selling Medicare insurance plans to potential clients, providing them with detailed information, and ensuring they understand their options to make informed decisions.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Sales and Customer Service:
    • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls to potential Medicare customers.
    • Educate customers on Medicare products and services, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans.
    • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable Medicare plans.
    • Follow up with potential customers to answer questions and provide additional information.
  2. Consultation and Guidance:
    • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand the specific requirements of each customer.
    • Explain plan benefits, coverage options, and enrollment processes in a clear and concise manner.
    • Assist customers in the enrollment process and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
  3. Compliance and Regulations:
    • Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding Medicare sales and marketing.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare guidelines and compliance requirements.
    • Ensure all sales activities are conducted in an ethical and compliant manner.
  4. Data Management:
    • Accurately record and maintain customer information in the company’s CRM system.
    • Track and report sales metrics and performance to management.
    • Maintain organized records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings.
    • Share best practices and insights to improve overall team performance.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a call/contact center with Medicare products. 
  • Active Texas Health and Life Insurance License.
  • Released from all Medicare contracting. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information. 
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft office suite.

Compensation package:

Base Pay: $23.00 -$26.00 Per Hour

Expected Hours: 40 per week
