POSITION SUMMARY

The Contract Administrator works as a specialist in issuing, processing, reporting, and maintaining contracts. This role updates carrier contracts to include status, licensing, certifications, and ensures completion and ready to sell status.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate issuance of carrier contracts from various, individual, life, ancillary and Medicare carriers.
  • Accountable for contract completion.
  • Responsible for reviewing and editing contracts to ensure there are no spelling, grammatical, or typographical errors or mistakes before issuing the contract for completion.
  • Organizes contracts using both company and carrier programs per the established corporate standards with respect to priority, status, terminology, and accuracy.
  • Remaining current on new developments in each carriers contracting systems, writing, editing, and publishing which may affect the corporation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 3 years + related of experience in Contracting, Administration, or Clerical position.
  • Excellent customer relationship skill set
  • Ability to multi-task, while utilizing and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management and supervisors.

Schedule: Monday – Friday

 

Compensation package:

Base Pay: $19.00 -$22.00 Per Hour

Expected Hours: 40 per week
