POSITION SUMMARY
At Agile People and Payroll, the HR Partners (HRPs) role is crucial to the day-to-day functions of the organization and its partners. The HR Partner provides HR support to the entire organization and it’s affiliate companies. They will run the daily Generalist functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruiting, interviewing staff, administering benefits, employee leave, training, employee relations and enforcing company policies and practices.
They will act as the frontline consultant to all employees and business lines in creating a positive experience from Hire to Retire, offering consistent HR advice on people matters. They operate and are seen as subject matter experts, having sound knowledge in company and local programs, processes and policies, offering a strong and compelling point of view around HR related matters, thus building credibility.
They are committed to collaboration with their Director of HR, people managers, as well as teams across various businesses. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
This is a Full-Time, In-Office role. Consistent with an HR Generalist/HRBP
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and HR related trainings.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Conducts new hire orientation and oversees employee recognition programs.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified hourly job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Responsible for tracking/reporting HR Metrics (Attendance, Attrition, Overtime, Engagement, etc.). Calculate turnover metrics for all associates
Performs benefits administration tasks for all employees, including FMLA, disability ,workers comp, H1-B Visa, student visa, and contracting 1099.
Partners with business leaders on all employee relation matters and best practices.
Account representative for HRIS system, Paylocity.
Benefits administrator for all employees
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
SHRM Certification or similar HR Certification a plus +
Notary Public
FMLA Certification
Paylocity HRIS experience a plus +
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of HR Generalist experience
2+ years of Benefits administration experience
3+ years working with an HRIS system
Experience executing across multiple business lines in a new or growing organization.
Strong working knowledge of the following Federal and State policies: ACA, FMLA, FLSA, EEOC, TWC, Title VII/Civil Rights Act, EPA, ADA.

Base Pay: $75,000 – $90,000.00 per year
